Niger Republic varsity seeks collaboration with BUK on research, staff and academic programmes

BUK receives NUC accreditation teams for 9 programmes

By Opeyemi Babalola The management of Bayero University, Kano, said it has received eight teams from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the accreditation of 9 programmes. Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, who received the teams along with members of Principal Officers, said the University always welcomes accreditation exercise because it is a peer review process with the aim of helping institutions to strengthen their teaching and learning. Bayero University set up committee to investigate students’ mass failure

By Moyosore Salami Officials of the Bayero University, Kano, BUK has set up a committee to investigate a mass failure of students in some courses in the institution. The University’s 393rd Senate meeting held recently approved the setting up of the committee.
