The Federal University of Kashere, Gombe State has been given 150 hectares of land for infrastructure development by the state government. The approval of the land which was meant to expand the institution was announced in a statement signed by the Commissioner of Lands and Survey, Muhammad Ibrahim. According to the statement, governor Mohammed Inuwa Yahya of Gombe State made the approval in order for the varsity to build more faculties and establish inter-university centres.
