Dr. Queen Blessing Itua Completes Harvard Executive Education Program

Dr. Queen Blessing Itua, a Public Health Practitioner, has successfully completed Harvard University’s Executive Education Program  in The School of Public Health.

Now she is one of the 2019 Harvard Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership Graduates (#executiveeducation #harvarduniversity #professionaldevelopment #leadershipdevelopment).

The Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership is offered through the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. The program was from October 21-25, 2019 at Cambridge, Harvard University.

About the program

Through this course, leaders learn powerful new strategies for enacting high-impact sustainability leadership that positions sustainability as a driver of organizational engagement, authenticity, agility, innovation, and change- capability. The program focuses on organizational design to optimize and accelerate impact for sustainability and innovation.

Participants learn new tools and frameworks to unleash the flow of purpose-driven ideas, from inception to scale, throughout their organization. Contents include the latest research from Global CEOs into the future of leadership, biological intelligence that can inform leadership, systems mapping to leverage impact, and a variety of real world case stories that bring idea flow to life.
The program balances the delivery of guiding principles and best practices, presentation of case studies, and opportunities for real-time application.

Participants actively engage in problem-solving with the help of structured activities designed to support their understanding of the content’s direct relevance to their organization.

Throughout the 5 days of the intensive program, Harvard team provided many opportunities for participants’ meaningful engagement with faculty and peers. The interactions drew directly from the participants’ experiences — the reason the selective admissions process ensures that participants have a wealth of experience to draw from within their cohort.

About Dr. Queen Blessing Itua

Dr. Queen Blessing Itua, Biochemist and Public Health Practitioner, is a multi-faceted community impact leader, a bridge builder, and an advocator, who uses her platform to address public health social issues and to connect resources for the development of Africa. She is the inspirational, published author of the book: “We Are the Blessings of Africa, Reshaping Our Greatness Together.”

Dr. Queen Blessing is the Founder of Global WIN Limited Liability Company, an American Africa Business Investment Forum through which she connects resources, investment/funds, and people to expand trade and investment opportunities on the continent of Africa for economic empowerment, education/training, etc.

With her extensive leadership network, she has currently partnered with Green Globe USA to bring Green Technology to Nigeria, Africa, and India. Dr. Queen Blessing is the Visionary Founder of the Global Empowerment Movement (GEM) USA, an organization accredited by the United Nations Economic and Social Council, through which she actively participates at United Nations meetings to advocate and address issues in her local community and globally. She also founded the Blessings of Africa (BOA) Empowerment Foundation organization in Africa to focus on addressing issues on the Continent.

Dr. Queen Blessing’s mission is to live up to her name and to be a blessing to the needy persons disadvantaged by poverty, especially women – prone to subjugation, with a special focus on the abused, abandoned single mothers and their children.

Dr. Queen Blessing is a proud recipient of the President Obama Lifetime Achievement Service award for excellence in humanitarian service.
